DGSA Legislation Change – Extra Course Begins 30th August!
Posted by Holly Waterhouse, July 12, 2022
Changes to the Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser legislation from 1st January 2023 have led to a high demand for our DGSA course, so we have added an extra course beginning at the end of August.
The training will be delivered as a blended learning course, combining the best of our classroom and online training. The course will start with four days in the classroom at an easily accessible training location close to Heathrow airport from Tuesday 30th August to Friday 2nd September. At the end of the four day course, delegates will leave the course with plenty of revision exercises and case studies, and then re-group for an interactive session online on Monday 12th September, only three days prior to the exam. We limit our class size to a maximum of 12 delegates.
The course is delivered by one of our expert training instructors who will go through an in-depth study of the ADR regulations, and provide several mock exams and case studies that mimic the exam day so delegates are well prepared to sit the exam.

Lithium Batteries: Changes to the Regulations
Posted by Holly Waterhouse, March 29, 2022
Once again, shippers of lithium batteries by air must prepare for changes to the regulations that become effective from 1 April.
This time, the changes are buried in the multi-page packing instructions 965 and 968 of the 63rd edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Neither lithium ion nor lithium metal batteries can be sent under the Section II provisions.
The effect of this is that all lithium batteries sent on their own require the completion of a shipper’s declaration for dangerous goods, additional marking and labelling and also full dangerous goods by air training.
Make sure you are up-to-date with the changes to the regulations. We run lihitum battery by air, road & sea courses every week.
