We’re excited to announce that Peter East Associates has officially joined Cosmetics Cluster UK (CCUK), a UK-based network that brings together businesses, consultants, academia and institutions across the cosmetic and personal care supply chain.
Our membership reflects our growing work in the cosmetics sector, providing dangerous goods regulatory training, consultancy and support to a range of cosmetics brands and retailers. We see enormous value in being part of a community focused around collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation.
To mark the occasion, our team was delighted to attend the CCUK Networking Event at the University of Bradford in June. It was great to meet other professionals from across the sector—from formulation specialists and packagers to brand owners and academics. The event offered great insight into the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the cosmetics industry. Many thanks to the CCUK organisers for hosting such an engaging and informative day.
As a member of CCUK, we look forward to contributing our unique perspective on the transport and regulatory challenges faced by cosmetics businesses, and the wider chemical supply chain involved in the movement of products containing hazardous ingredients.
Excepted & Limited Quantities
The announcement follows the growing popularity of our carriage of limited and excepted quantities by air, road & sea training course (available online and in the classroom). This course (with a fully Civil Aviation Authority approved air module) was launched several years ago, designed to cater to those industries shipping small volumes of dangerous goods. The course has predominantly been the training of choice for customers moving cosmetic and perfume products direct to retail or shoppers home addresses.
We believe that joining CCUK will benefit not only our clients, but also the wider community of CCUK members. Through better understanding the challenges and needs of the cosmetics industry, we hope to improve our training offering and actively support positive change across the cosmetic supply chain.
Stay tuned as we continue to collaborate, connect, and contribute to the success of the UK’s vibrant cosmetic sector.
