Peter East Associates is delighted to be sponsoring the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals (BADGP) Corrosive Substances Seminar, taking place on Wednesday 30 September 2026 in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The seminar will bring together dangerous goods professionals for a day dedicated to Class 8 – Corrosive Substances.
What will the Corrosive Substances seminar cover?
Corrosive substances are some of the most common dangerous goods we see in transport. They are often shipped in everything from tankers through to IBCs, drums, boxes and jerricans, presenting a wide range of challenges for those involved in their classification, handling and transport.
The BADGP seminar will explore the subject from several different perspectives, with presentations covering topics including classification considerations and spillage incident scenarios. The event will also feature a panel discussion at the end of the day, giving delegates an opportunity to hear different perspectives and discuss some of the issues encountered when working with corrosive substances.
Delegates will also receive a new addition to BADGP’s series of dangerous goods guides, this time focusing specifically on Class 8 corrosives.
