Bookings Open for Dangerous Goods Updates
September 10, 2018
2019 is only a few months away, and 1st January is when new editions of dangerous goods regulations become reality. There are new editions of the road (ADR), air (IATA) and sea (IMDG) regulations to understand.
One solution to finding out about all these changes is to come along to our Dangerous Goods Regulations Update seminars. The series of half-day sessions begins on 30th October at Heathrow, and runs throughout November, December and January. Please click here to see the full schedule of dates and venues.
The changes in 2019 are far reaching for some shippers and consignors as there are some new UN numbers for dangerous goods in machinery, new regulations for the classification of Class 8 corrosives, amendments to the layout of the list of UN numbers in the IMDG Code and shippers of polymerizing substances will have to change the way they communicate their consignments to their hauliers and shipping lines. Inevitably, there are further changes to the lithium battery regulations, and airlines face changes to the passenger provisions.
We will address all these items and many more during these half-day seminars that are running in nine UK locations plus one in Dublin. There will also be an opportunity to order or buy the new editions of the ADR, IATA and IMDG regulations.
These events are popular, so we suggest early booking to guarantee your place. We can also deliver the course at your premises.
