Training Courses in Ireland
February 14, 2018
We are pleased to announce that our first open dangerous goods by air course in Belfast will be taking place from Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th March. The venue is the Dunsilly Hotel which is conveniently located a few minutes drive from the M2 motorway and within easy reach of the centre of Belfast and the surrounding area. We have been delivering training regularly in Northern Ireland for many years in collaboration with local partners, but several Ulster based companies and organisations have been requesting regular open courses as the alternative is to travel over to a Peter East course on the UK mainland.
The course in Belfast lasts three days, and is fully UK Civil Aviation Authority approved. On Thursday afternoon, there is an open book exam, and successful candidates receive a certificate that is valid for two years. Peter East is planning another Belfast course in October, and hopes to increase the frequency in 2019.
A few weeks after the Belfast course, we are running a course in Dublin from Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th April. This one is Irish Aviation Authority approved, and will take place at the ALSAA Leisure Club which is at Dublin Airport. Peter East has been delivering dangerous goods courses in Ireland for over ten years, and has both open air and road and sea courses scheduled for 2018. All the courses can also be delivered in-house throughout Ireland.
